Tealson Herrlin, Death Obituary Emmaus PA,

Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday morning on Interstate 78 in Lehigh County. Tealson Herrlin, 18, of Upper Milford Township, died following a single-vehicle accident that took place around 5:10 a.m., according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.

Officials say Herrlin was traveling westbound on the interstate when his vehicle struck a traffic sign, causing it to leave the roadway and enter a ditch along the right side of the highway. Emergency responders transported him to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately an hour later.

An autopsy conducted by the coroner’s office determined that Herrlin died from multiple blunt-force trauma, and the manner of death was ruled accidental. The East Penn School District confirmed that he was a student at Emmaus High School.

Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
