Residents of Kansas City, Missouri, are grieving the sudden loss of 21-year-old Richaud Conley, who died after being shot Tuesday evening, March 10, 2026.

Police say officers responded around 5:45 p.m. to a reported shooting near the intersection of East 55th Street and Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival, Kansas City Police Department officers found Conley lying unresponsive in a nearby grassy area. He was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital but tragically did not survive his injuries.
