Mondale Harris Death Fatally Shot Milwaukee Obituary
A late-morning shooting in a residential area of Milwaukee has left one man dead and investigators working to determine what led to the deadly encounter.
Officers with the Milwaukee Police Department responded shortly before noon Saturday to reports of gunfire near 60th Street and Melvina Street. When police arrived at the residence, they discovered a 51-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was later identified by family members as Mondale “Munchie” Harris. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police also confirmed that at least one other person was injured during the shooting. Officials have not yet released details about the second victim or the sequence of events that unfolded inside the home.
