John Gross Township, PA Accident Death: Cherish Resident Has Died In A Fatal Crash

North Codorus Township, Pennsylvania — A tragic accident early on Thursday morning has claimed the life of 61-year-old John Gross of Glenville, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

At approximately 6:40 a.m., Gross was driving his Ford F-150 northbound on the 1700 block of Seven Valleys Road when his truck crossed into oncoming traffic. At that moment, a fully loaded tractor-trailer, driven by a 55-year-old man from Ohio, was heading south. The two vehicles collided head-on, causing a devastating impact.

Rescue crews arrived at the scene within minutes to find the tractor-trailer blazing, with its cab and cargo engulfed in flames. Despite their rapid response, emergency responders were unable to save Gross, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner.
